Dear fellow travellers,
After 61 days of countrywide lockdown, India is now gradually opening up travel for masses. As travel resumes, the pandemic requires us to raise the exacting standards of our industry even higher and make new protocols, the new normal. We have used the downtime to work closely with our partners including airlines, hotels, homestays, bus operators, cab owners and others in the value chain to enforce 3S safety standards that will ensure hygiene and well-being of travellers at all times. Here is a commitment to your safety from India’s top Travel and Hospitality Leaders.
Your safety is our topmost priority. With our newly-launched MySafety programme, we're taking series of steps that will help you step out and travel again. We are collectively committing to these 3S safety standards which will form the bedrock of new protocols for travel in these times:
While each travel segment will have unique challenges which would need tailored solutions, we believe that these common confidence building measures will go a long way in helping keep us safe. Today, safety is a shared responsibility and we all have a role to play in keeping each other safe. We encourage you to take the safety pledge as we step into the new normal.
The pandemic has been a challenge like no other - for people, communities, businesses, countries and the world as a whole. For the travel industry — which is built on the ability to help people be out and about, it has had a disruptive impact beyond any parallel. In the two month period of lockdown, our team has handled over 4.5 lakh support requests caused as a result of travel disruption. As the skies open for domestic travel again, we want to assure you that we will continue to serve and support you with the same rigour.
Once again, thanks for your patience and patronage. We look forward to seeing you travel with us soon.
Yours sincerely,
