And if you can’t find what you are looking for, we will be more than happy to customize a gift card for you.

MakeMyTrip Gift Card is available in 2 formats- Physical Gift Card and E-gift Card. Physical Gift Card is mailed to the recipient’s address and E-gift Card is emailed to the recipient’s e-mail address. Both formats are available for various occasions like Wedding, Anniversary, Birthday and many more.

There are 2 more type of cards- Holidays Gift Card and Hotels Gift Card which are valid only on Holiday Packages and Hotels respectively. Please see the Gift Card/ voucher copy for more details.

• Log onto: http://www.makemytrip.com/gift-cards/
• Select the Format of Gift Card (Gift Card /E-Gift Card).
• Select the occasion for which you would like to gift.
• Enter the amount as per your choice.
• Select the quantity.
• Enter the name and address of the person you want to send the gift card.
• Add your personalized message and Preview the voucher.
• Go through the regular checkout process.
• In the payments step, proceed to make the payment via Credit Card, Debit Card or Netbanking.

Once you have completed the checkout process, you will receive an email confirming the purchase and the recipient will receive the E-Gift Card on email or Physical Gift Card through courier, which they can use to make purchases through MakeMyTrip.com.

MakeMyTrip Gift Cards are valid for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.

Physical Gift Card will be sent to the recipient on the address mentioned by you in recipient address section.

E-Gift Card will be sent to the recipient on the Email address mentioned by you in recipient Email address section.

  • Can be redeemed online at www.makemytrip.com or on MakeMyTrip Android & IOS app. Please follow the steps listed below:
    • Select your Flight/ Hotel and fill required details till you reach the payment page.
    • On Website, click on "More options" and Select "Gift Card" as your Payment Mode. On Android and IOS app, choose Gift Card as the payment option
    • Enter your Gift Card/ Card No. (16 Digit) and 6 Digit Pin No.
    • Click on "Make Payment" and Pay the Balance amount (if any) using other Payment Modes Listed.
  • Flights & Hotels are not redeemable offline.
• For Holidays :
  • Please call on the understated number to redeem the card.

The card can be redeemed through following channels

• For Flights & Hotels:
  • Online at www.makemytrip.com,
    • Select your Flight/ Hotel.
    • On the Fare Summary Page, please mention the voucher code in the E-coupon code (or Deal Code) section.
    • The Voucher amount would be reduced from the transaction amount.
    • The Transaction amount should be equal to or more than the Voucher amount to successfully apply.
    • The Voucher can be used only once. Amount left after first usage would be forfeit. Please use full amount in first use.
    • Click on "Make Payment" and Pay the Balance amount (if any) using other Payment Modes Listed.
  • Flights & Hotels are not redeemable offline.
• For Holidays :

Gift cards are also applicable on bookings made on MakeMyTrip Mobile App.

Yes upto 3 MakeMyTrip Gift Cards (16 digit codes) can be redeemed in 1 transaction.

The balance after doing 1 transaction would remain in the Gift Card (16 digit codes) and can be used for another transaction before the validity period.

Balance after deducting Cancellation charges would be refunded to the same Gift Card(s) used. Please dont throw away your Gift Cards till you have completed your travel. MakeMyTrip is not responsible if the Gift card is lost, stolen or used without permission. There will be no validity extension in case of refund.

If the transaction didnt complete after applying the Gift Card (s), the amount deducted from each card would automatically be refunded within 24 hours.
